We are Dog Friendly
Dogs are welcome at Watergate – we do have housekeeping requirements for their benefit and ours these are:-
Kindly ensure your dog has his/her/their own bedding as they are not allowed to sleep on the property beds.
Kindly do not let your dog in if he/she/they are wet, muddy or sandy : please clean and dry outside before coming in.
Kindly do not leave your dog alone in the property for extensive periods, preferably not at all, as they will need to go outside for regular toileting and in a strange place to them may suffer detachment anxiety and could destroy or damage furniture. No one wants this to happen.
Please kindly keep on a lead in the immediate vicinity as it is working farmland, (we don’t want to upset the Farmer) and kindly scoop – a – poop when necessary as children do play on grass areas.
Many public footpaths and beaches nearby are dog friendly.
Arrival is not before 3pm on a Saturday – Departure is by 10am on a Saturday
The time in between is used by the Cleaning Team of Alex and Nicki for the turnaround. Even though this is a self- catering holiday home we have provided some basic supplies for cleaning in the property but if you use the last of something please consider simply replacing it before you leave.
Refuse and rubbish needs to be placed in black sacks (rubbish in carrier bags will not be taken by the bin men) then the black sacks placed in the bins provided. Glass bottles go in the crate by the bins please. Dog poop goes separate into the dog bin.
Car Parking :- we have our own designated space – this belongs to us – if you do happen to have more than one car then please do not park in another properties space but at the rear of our courtyard there is a small area unmarked and you could park here behind our property.
Refuge and any rubbish needs to be placed in bags in the bins provided at the bottom end of the car parking area
Treginegar has no mains sewerage and so please consider what you are putting down the toilet, non-biodegradable products will block the septic tank system in place so please use the bin provided for anything other than tissue paper.
The shower is electric and so does not rely on hot water from the immersion heater there is a pull switch on the bathroom ceiling to activate this; also in the bathroom is a heated towel rail, and outside there is a whirlybird if the weather is good for drying towels. Whilst we do not have a washing machine in the cottage there is a lovely Launderette on the Atlantic Bays Site just along the road same side as us (payable 4 x £1). Atlantic Bays are also happy to allow our occupants to utilise their other facilities including shop, bar and restaurant.
The Immersion Heater for tap hot water is currently set for 7.30-9am and 4-5pm (the override instruction leaflet is enclosed) should this be necessary.
Accidents & Breakages:-
We understand accidents and breakages do happen if this occurs please do not worry or stress but please do get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can resolve any problems before anyone else comes to stay.
